Spring Deadlines & Info Sessions!

If you are planning on submitting a proposal to RESET this semester, it must be received by midnight on Sunday, March 17.  We encourage applicants to contact us beforehand so that we can help with the process and connect you to the right resources on campus.

There are also two info sessions coming up! We will be hosting a lunch on Monday, February 4 at noon, most likely in the McMurtry PDR but to be confirmed later.  If you can’t make it to the lunch, we’re also hosting a study break on Tuesday, February 12 at 7pm in the RMC.  Committee members will be there to talk about project ideas, the application process, and answer all your questions.

Fall RESET Deadlines

Deadlines for fall semester projects are here! This year, we are strongly encouraging groups to submit their ideas to us by September 30th to get a head start on reaching out to the right contacts on campus. Although this is a soft deadline, it will be extremely beneficial for groups that are intending to submit proposals. The final proposal deadline is October 21st.

Preliminary Deadline: September 30th

Final Deadline: October 21st

RESET Study Break!

Think green, get green. Create a plan to make Rice more sustainable and you could receive up to $15,000 to make your project happen.

Still have questions?  Join us for a RESET study break next Tuesday September 14th in Kelly Lounge in the RMC from 8:00-9:30.  The committee will be there to answer any and all questions about the application process, campus resources, and project feasibility.

No ideas? No problem. Comes to the study break Tuesday night and sign up for a general area of interest or just brainstorm with the people you meet. There will be posters with key contact information to get you connected to the resources on campus needed to make your project happen.

Project proposals are due October 30th, so this is a great chance to get going on your plans!

And of course, there will be food.
